Albanu Wildlife Foundation

Margaux Claret AWF president

The Albanu Wildlife Foundation (AWF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting endangered species, particularly elephants and rhinoceroses, by empowering wildlife conservation efforts and supporting low-income communities. AWF bridges innovation and philanthropy, providing cutting-edge Albanu x Silotron solutions to foundations and communities working on the frontlines of wildlife protection.

Our Mission

AWF aims to:

  • Equip wildlife foundations and reserves with advanced tracking and monitoring systems to combat poaching and mitigate human-wildlife conflicts.

  • Empower low-income communities to coexist sustainably with wildlife through innovative tools and tailored support.

  • Ensure that technology-driven solutions, such as LoRaWAN trackers, geo-fencing systems, and real-time alerts, are accessible to those most in need.

Our Solutions

By partnering with Albanu x Silotron, AWF provides reserves and communities with:

  • Real-Time Tracking Systems: Monitoring animal movements to prevent poaching and protect habitats.

  • Geo-Fencing Technology: Alerting communities when wildlife approaches, reducing human-wildlife conflict.

  • Intervention Tools: Supporting anti-poaching units with data-driven alerts and innovative deterrent methods.

Community Impact

AWF focuses on empowering communities near wildlife reserves by involving them in conservation efforts and providing resources for sustainable coexistence. This dual approach of wildlife protection and community development creates long-term solutions for biodiversity conservation.

Our Vision

The Albanu Wildlife Foundation envisions a future where advanced technology and community collaboration work hand-in-hand to ensure the survival of endangered species and the harmony of human-wildlife relationships. Through our efforts, we aim to create a legacy of protection, restoration, and hope for the natural world.
